Empire Day at Elstree Studios

As promised, here is my haul from Empire Day yesterday.  Unfortunately I didn't manage any IP from any Eastenders or The Voice people but still had a great day out.

It was amazing to be in Studio 7 at Elstree where so many scenes from the original trilogy were filmed and the guest talks were really good.  I would imagine for many of yesterdays guests this could well be their only ever convention/show appearance as they probably wouldn't have the draw for any of the bigger shows and with all due respect arn't getting any younger.

Brian "Toby" Lofthouse, Prop Supervisor:

Run Punter, Specialist Painter - painter C3-PO and Darth Vader amongst others:

Rusty Goff, Jawa:

Patrick Ginter, Imperial Officer:

Nick Joseph, Medal Bearer:

Victor Galluci, Stormtrooper and Rebel:

John Morton, Bespin Boba Fett and Dak:

Ronnie Talyor, Camera Operator:

Geoff Glover, 2nd Unit Camera Operator:

Peter Taylor,  Focus Puller:

Gary Kurtz, Producer:

Michael Ford, Set Decorator and also the winner of two academy awards for his work on Raiders of the Lost Ark and Titanic.  Unfortunately he didn't have any Raiders photos with him otherwise I would have got one of those as well:

Ronnie Taylor, Peter Taylor and Jamie Harcourt (Clapper Loader):

Added Geoff Glover to my photo already signed by Ronnie Taylor:

Added Peter Taylor and Jamie Harcourt to photo already signed by Gill Taylor (Peter's Dad- Ronnie is no relation):

and lastly added Colin Skeaping (Stunts), Geoff Glover and John Morton to my Hoth photo, taking it up to 17 signers:

So a total of 20 autographs, including 9 new names to add my collection

Re: Empire Day at Elstree Studios

Glad you had a wonderful day out, and some awesome signed pictures. The multi-signed Hoth pic is a bit special now. More impressed that someone who has so many Star Wars autographs managed to find an event where he could add nine new signatures to his collection! That is a feat in itself. Congrats.
