Picked up a small 3 item bundle on eBay. Mainly for one signed EE card, Janet Dibley (#504). It also came with a cast picture signed by Gillian Taylforth and and Tamzin Outhwaite signed EE card I already had. Cost me £26.99 but worth it for a scarce card and reflects current collecting competition. I had it in my original collection and sold it for about twice that back in 2007.
I used to have all thirteen of the cast pictures but never bothered replacing them after the 2007 sale. I may pick these up again while I am looking for the cards as those I am missing surface less and less. The last cast pic issued was circa 2003/04. I would guess the only reason they stopped making these was when the large letter bracket was introduced around 2006 (I think) as these cast cards are too big for normal letter rates. Even unsigned they are nice as the rear has printed signatures of the cast on the front. Good reference material.

Thanks all.
#2 Greg - Some of the cards are very rare. If 10 was rarest, I would put this card at about 6 to 7. If I tried selling my Michael Elphick signed card (but I am not going to), it would easily fetch upwards of £250, even now.
#5 Rob - I was doing that as well, but have reached the point now where most of the cards I need do not surface often, so there is always competition for them when they do appear on eBay.
#8 Carl - I may do. I am thinking of using the cast cards as a distraction while I patiently wait for the different fan cards I am missing to surface. There are only 13 of them and they do surface quite regularly.
