Double comedy ip on sat 11th........

Spent the weekend in East Sussex and on saturday spent an hour in a Pub with Brian Murphy and Linda Regan. For the older members of the group, Brian Murphy probably best remembered as George Roper, henpecked husband in the comedy series "George and Mildred" along with Yootha Joyce. Last appearances as Alvin in "Last of the Summer Wine"

Linda Regan played the part of April in "Hi De Hi". She is now a crime writer.

On leaving asked if they would sign for me. Only thing we had available for them to sign was the pub menu. Linda also signed a small flyer containing details of her books.

#3 Yes, chance meeting, both going into the pub at the same time. He spoke to me outside and I recognised him, stating the well used words "I know you". His reply, "yes, same face, just older"!! They were both very nice.
