Comic from yesterday

Here's the comic I picked up yesterday signed by artist Bryan Hitch. Forbidden Planet get some nice promotions, and are so big they get their own variant cover editions of popular American comics. Quite often they have signings for these. There's an irony that UK variants of an American comic can be sought after Stateside by collectors who want to be completist. Multi variant covers to comic releases is common, and a dirty trick to suck in the obsessive and completist comic collectors. I never did like the practice, and stick with a single edition of a comic.

Bryan is a very talented artist and has worked on many comic titles over the years. Ulton is a key villain from the pages of The Avengers,

I've never got into the comic obsession but, I love the artwork. That's really nicely signed and will fit well with the other comics you have Nigel.

Great purchase Nigel. Like you,I don't like the variant covers they keep bringing out.A recent Justice League of  America comic had 50 variations-1for each state!
