Over the moon with this reply, Christine was a make up artist on Return of the Jedi and Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom so even though I had previously written to her back in 2006 and she had kindly signed a couple of Star Wars photos for me I wanted to write again to try and get her on an Indy photo and can't believe my luck with the added bonus that came back.
Unbeknown to me it turns out her Mum is Connie Reeve who was the Chief Make Up Artist on Indiana Jones and The Temple of Doom. It turns out she now lives with her after sadly suffering from a stroke so Christine was kind enough to get her to sign both my photo and index card alongside her own signature. Christine has put that Mum had stroke on both the photo and card, I can only imagine to explain her handwriting but I am just grateful that she signed under the circumstances
I love the quotes on both photos too, "didnt Graham Freeborn do a lovely job on her face make up - I did the body makeup" on the Star Wars photo and "All the best from two surviving members of the make up dept" on the Indy photo. She also mentions that her Mum worked on the Temple of Doom skeletons. A lovely note on the bottom of my letter too.
