Book No5 back..and a first on here I think.

I could not resist adding this to the bag for a £1 the other month...pristine condition and a nice chunky book. I know there are a lot of so called "Celebrity Chefs" about these days but just had to give this guy a go TTM......So I sent this copy of Heston Blumenthal's book "Further adventures in search of perfection" off to him via one of his Restaurants on the 18th of December...I did say I know it was probably the busiest time of year to send but was happy for it to sit where ever until he could read the letter. Anyway the book has been returned today signed by the "Mr Science" of the cooking world.....and what a Zany Graph he has too. Heston Blumenthal OBE is a proponent of modern cooking; he opened his own research and development kitchen in early 2004. It could be said that he is a molecular gastronomist, though he dislikes the term, believing it makes the practice sound "complicated" and "elitist." He was selected to provide the picnic meal for participants in Queen's Diamond Jubilee celebrations. In recognition, he was a guest in the Royal Box at the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee concert in June 2012. Cheers Heston...Love it! That's 5 back with 2 outstanding but hopeful of the others returning.
