After yesterdays dissapointment from Carrington...Today's reply has put a smile back on me face. Got a signed book back :-p..My Favourite TTM item.
I sent a first edition copy of Ashley's autobiography " My Defence" off to him via the Chelsea training ground on the 25th of September. Today the book has been returned by the Chelsea N0 3...Probably the best left back in England today. Hope he makes it to 100 international caps soon. This makes it a trio of signed books back from the England lads at the Bridge, Frank Lampard, John Terry and now Ashley Cole. Very pleased with this one..Not seen too many back from him over the years...Hope is one's Genuine..Lol.
Ashley Cole (born 20 December 1980) is an English footballer who plays for Chelsea and the England national team. Primarily a left-back, Cole is considered by critics and fellow professional players as one of the best defenders of his generation.
Born in Stepney, London, Cole began his youth career at Arsenal and made his full debut for the club in November 1999, going on to make a further 227 appearances, scoring nine goals. With Arsenal he won two Premier League titles, three FA Cups, and was an integral member of "The Invincibles" team of the 2003–04 season, who went the entire league season undefeated. Cole also made an appearance in Arsenal's first UEFA Champions League final in 2006; the club lost 2–1 to FC Barcelona.
Top Bloke...Top Defender..Thanks a million Ashley Cole.

just seems odd because he's never signed ttm at all and I know people who have sent books and shirts this season and last and not had them back so for just the 1 reply from him as ive never seen any others does seem odd as surely he would also sign the other books and shirts sent in?
examples of his sig though the top ones are his newer full sig which he started using in 09-10 the bottom one is his old longer one:

as I said could be wrong and it could be a new sig never seen it before anyway so dont bin it just yet incase it is ok, the 'A' I guess is similar

I really hope it's ok, Alex. It'll be pretty bad if secs are now ruining books. If they don't want to sign, just return it!

Hopefully those who know more about his sig can help you get to the bottom of this Alex.
I have the same book, but not had time to send it yet. I will wait to see the outcome of this thread.

Alex-I hope it's not a second strike, but I have to agree with Matt, other than never seeing a TTM from Ashley Cole,I've not seen him sign like that.I've never personally got him before ,but the autographs I've got of him which are from reliable sources are like those Matt's shown.
Hopefully he's changed his signature.
