Today I broke my duck and can no longer say the charity shops in Plymouth are no good!

As I was browsing through the football books (none signed) I looked through the other biographies where they had a number of Michael Palin's books,I've already got a couple of his books having enjoyed his travel series,so imagine my surprise when the book I didn't have was also signed by him-not bad for £2.50.

Only question now-how long before my second success?

Congrats Rob. As someone who has found one or two signed books in charity shops, I hope it is the first of many for you. It's a similar buzz to having a reply turn up in the post, and equally addictive.

A good one to start with, that's a nice book. Funny thing, I think my first ever signed book from a charity shop several years ago may have been the original Around The World book by Michael Palin.
