Another off my most wanted list :-)

A little bit of a saga getting this, but well worth it in the end. Morrissey re-released his classic cd Bona Drag and through the brilliant recordstore there was a promotion where the first 200 to order it would get their copy signed. There was a problem and the signed cd sleeves were not supplied to recordstore. This was back on the 01st October. This week came the news that they would not be able to supply the signed cd inserts but would send a signed poster instead. Poster arrived today. Huge 3 foot poster folded down to about lp size, with large signature from Morrissey. Well pleased to say the least. I now have to get a suitable frame for this, as this is a must for framing. Sig checks out from what I can see, but I would expect it to as recordstore are legit. Someone already has theirs on eBay, but this is a keeper for me! 🙂

superb nigel, i love morrissey and the smiths, thats superb, i remeber having the same problem with record store about 3 year ago re a signed The Thrills single(my fave band who were quite big a few year back but are no longer together :-() well on that occasion they again failed to deliver the signed vinyl and to this day ive never recieved owt- not even a refund
glad you got the poster mate it really is superb and Bona Drag is an awesome album one of the best compilations ever

#9 - That is most unusual for recordstore and it must have been a huge mistake in communication as they normally come good one way or the other. On the rare times I have had problems they have been really helpful.

THAT IS SUPERB NIGEL, I WOULD PREFARE THAT TO THE SIGNED RECORD, IT WILL LOOK GREAT FRAMED, WELL DONE THE RECORD STORE.
