A couple of finds this week

Yesterday I had an interesting find for 50p -

Saved HB 1/1 1997 by Tony Bullimore

The book is in top shape with a great signature. Tony made the headlines in 1996 when he was competing in a single handed round the world race. One competitor died and Tony was one of two competitors who needed to be rescued. He survived for 5 days in an upside down boat with just a chocoalte bar for food.They nearly called off the rescue at one point, so he was very lucky. Should be an interesting read.

My best find was earlier in the week, and one that was long overdue. I bought it as signed for £9.99 but it's a bargain.

Who On Earth Is Tom Baker? HB 1/1 by Tom Baker

Signed and dated with a dedication by Tom in the year of publication. That would have been a bargain in itself, but it is also signed by Terry Walsh (stuntman/actor) who passed away in 2002 and Nicholas Courtney (the Brigadier) who passed away in 2011. Both Terry and Nicholas had a long history with the show. Terry worked on numerous episodes between 1966 and 1979, and Nicholas is an obvious legend of the show. Tom needs no introducing - a larger than life character for many years. Really chuffed to get this for my signed book collection and also as a big Doctor Who fan.

The Tom Baker signed book could not have bee found by a more worthy person. That's awesome for your collection Nigel and to also have to 2 additional sigs,Brilliatn find.
