I can’t remember the last time I had 2 replies on the same day.
First is actor and musician Paul Williams. He signed my Muppet Show card (he was a guest star), sheet music book and 7” single cover (although he returned my soundtrack poster unsigned – maybe I sent a few too many items). Paul was in many films in the 70’s – I think I remember him mostly for his part in “Smokey and the Bandit”. He wrote the music for films such as “The Muppet Movie” and “The Muppet Christmas Carol” and he also won an Oscar for the song “Evergreen” from the film A Star is Born.
Next was Ed Christie, muppet designer and builder who became the vice president and supervisor of the Muppet Workshop. Very talented guy who designed and built many of the characters that have become household names today and has won 8 Emmy awards for his work. He signed my card and photo. He also kindly included an extra photo. Thanks Ed.
