Hello,
Since the recent launch of Click & Collect at Argos, there’s over 30 million listings live on eBay.co.uk offering this new delivery option. As more and more sellers make the most of the service, we wanted to answer a couple of questions we’ve been hearing from sellers.
Dispatching the item to an Argos address
You don’t have to amend the postal address when dispatching an item for Click & Collect. You just need to check that the 6 digit unique identifier code is on the second line of the Argos address and make sure your systems allow you to include the code on your postage label. Every sold item will have a unique code applied to it. This links your buyer to the parcel, the parcel to the selected store, and allows Argos to identify your parcel and let the buyer know they can collect their order.
Seller protection for Click & Collect transactions
Any orders fulfilled through Click & Collect are covered by eBay and PayPal Protections as they would be normally. Your eBay Seller Protection is not impacted when you send items to the selected Argos address, as generated when the order is placed, instead of the buyer’s delivery address.
