***Remove contact info from your listings now***

08 November, 2017 | 01:41PM GMT

Hello,

Following updates to our Contact information in listings policy earlier this year for the UK and Ireland , we no longer allow sellers to include in their listings:

  • Any contact information, such as phone numbers and email addresses.
  • Links to destinations to a site outside of eBay.

Make sure you remove any contact info or non-compliant links as soon as possible. We’ll start obscuring these details from your listings this month, and next year we may remove any listings that include this information.

You can find out which of your listings are non-compliant in the Seller Hub, My eBay or Selling Manager Pro.

You can also use our bulk-editing tool to update your listings on eBay.co.uk and eBay.ie.

Watch our videos about keeping transactions on eBay.

Read our Contact information in listings policy for the UK and Ireland.
Read our policy about Links for the UK and Ireland .

Note for Business Sellers: As part of this change, we’ll collapse the legally required Business seller information on your listings, so it’s one click away for buyers.

Regards
The eBay team
