This is not a *slimming club* really.

I think it would be nice to have a place to come & chat about weight loss ideas (safe sensible ones only please!),
to share personal experiences and achievements, and also to ask for help.

Lindi is our resident expert, and has kindly offered her help.
Just introduce yourself and come on in, you are most welcome!

Hi sparkle dust,

Wondered if I could join you all gave up smoking 7wks ago and I have put weight back on not all due to the no smoking, I had an operation in febuary that has allowed me to eat foods I couldn,t eat before so went a bit mad then decided to give up the weed,I have had such great support from the other thread sparkle dust started and I feel it is now time to tackle the extra weight of 2stones I must also add that I cannot eat carrots the drugs I am on have made me highly allergic to them, and I need all the support I can get being near enough housebound.

I need to reinvent me and be happier with myself.:_|:_|

ooh 25 in a pint (from what I can work out).

That means a quarter of it will be about 6. Perfect! Two servings for me then..... mmmmmm

LOL you had better divide it into quarters then!
(halves, if you have full sin allowance still left today)

Or am I too late? lol

Hi Jay

Would you like me to add a list of all the speed/super speed foods (do you know about them?) & some more choices for the B Box fibre foods?
(Just the average foods?)
*haven't heard of some of them lol*

I may not get a chance to come back until tomorrow afternoon or evening with them but if it will help you in any way I don't mind!

Off to Adams in the morning, as they have an extra 20% off all stock sale lol

See ya soon

Sparkle that would be great, thank you. I did have a book but I lost in ages ago - oops. I can remember some of them (like peas, sweetcorn) but not many. I do all green days.

Going to the gym again today - determined to tone up as well as lose weight.

Thanks for your help Sparkle.

Jay

Morning to everyone

Hope it's a good one wherever you are 🙂

I was just wondering if I could ask for some advice from all you "experts" on here? 🙂 Is there an "ideal" amount of water that someone who wants to keep losing weight, should be drinking each day?

I drink 500ml in the morning, again in the afternoon and one more in the evening.

Probably not enough though.

WW recommend 8 glasses of water a day - but as they don't tell you how big the glasses should be that's not an awful lot of help!!! lol

I aim for 2 litres a day, and don't usually fall too far short.

Persevere with the water drinking even if you find it hard work to start with (here's hoping you sit close to a loo!) - because it really does help with weight loss (not so much by shifting fat, but it reduces water retention which would otherwise add weight and leave you feeling and looking bloated)
