Who was it?

Who was it on here who used to post about Aspartame? Didn't he have a Standard Poodle which was dyed pink? I've forgotten his ID.

Reason for asking is that I've just read this article about Aspartame:-

Even, the passing 'again' of Aspartame by the EFSA, is suspect

They researched 'average consumption' -

But loads of people drink some

Just look around You for a couple of weeks

You'll see the people, who never have a opened Can of the stuff, out of reach of their hand

The anti-Asp People, have always said the problem is with the High intake users

------------------------

I was ranting and raving about the stuff on Here years ago, as well

Please remember, the 'tests' on Aspartame - That 'cleared' it (so quickly after banning it)

for Human use are extremely suspect.

Patent Holding company at the time was - G.D. Searle

Their Chairman, on hearing it had been banned by the FDA, when first Put forward,

vowed to 'Call in All His Political markers on this'

The next 'Tests' by hand picked People - RUSHED it through approval

way faster than than anything else.

That Chairman of course was Donald Rumsfeld - Who at the Time

Had just left Office as Gerald Fords Secretary of Defense

(later He came back to Government under G W Bush in same Job)

Look around for a week, You'll see Many people, constantly with an open Can,

within reach, if not in their hand

Is what I should have wrote ^^above ^^

Hi Al, good comments there.

What gets me though (quite apart from the Aspartame issue) is WHY people have to walk round grasping a can or bottle??? Everywhere you go there are people with one or the other whether that be juice, cola, some sort of alcohol or water. What on earth for?

It’s because they have one hand for a bottle and another for their mobile Phone, comfort blankets seem to be out of fashion!
