What a tragic loss of life in France !

Nearly all in a coach outing of mature people killed in a crash in France including the lorry driver and his three year old son. Forty three killed in one accident.

This is so sad. My heart goes out to all the families.

Bus journeys through France are very scary, they charge along  on A & B roads to save on the Motorway tolls

But in this case, according to reports the lorry driver had "lost control" and the bus couldn't get out of the way.

I know it's a bit soon but I wonder  how many of the French pensioners were on a day out trip into Switzerland on a one day only trip.

Why? Men who spend a lot of time away from home often take their children with them. My ex used to take our sons to sea on the trawler. The only way he ever saw them
