Looking forward to warmer longer days and getting out and about more.
Time to start planting in the allotment, but still have some back-achy digging to do.

P'raps you should fly south like the birdies !!
The spring is sprung, the grass is riz.
I wonder where the boidie is.
They say the boidie’s on the wing.
But that’s absoid. The wing is on the bird.

I'm looking forward to next month, when 'my' House Martins return! I don't know why, but it almost brings me to tears when I see them return. They have completed such an arduous journey...amazing, for such a small creature. This Winter, while the snow was down, I have had two visitors to my garden that I have never seen before. The first was a pair of Fieldfares, and the second, just last Saturday, was a Reed Bunting. The Bunting was way off course, or desperate for food, but I was so thrilled to see him. I will probably never see one again!
As a collector of Japanese Acer trees, I'm also looking forward to seeing them leaf out in their glorious new foliage, but we need some warm days for that!

I'm just looking forward to lighter nights, I'll be able to see the rain then.😀

The spring equinox when day and night are the same length all over the world, when those within the Artic Circle first see the Sun above the horizon and those within the Antarctic Circle wave goodbye to it for the next six months.

Keep off the Jerusalem artichokes!
My friend, whos allotment I share, grows them as an effective wind break (no pun intended) from prevailing south-westerlies, but I will not eat them
