The Betrayed Girls

Last nights programme about the Rochdale grooming gangs was extremely harrowing. To think that this has all been going on on our doorsteps makes my blood boil. And the problem is it is still going on around the country! What can be done to free these young victims from these terrifying ordeals and why are there not more prosecutions taking place.
I know that some will say it does nothing for race relations to see groups of Asian men prosecuted yet it comes down to what are we prepared to accept in this country? Should grooming be swept under the carpet because it is seen as politically inconvenient or should it be confronted head on and those involved regardless of race be punished and even sent back from whence they came. We must surely send out a strong message to all those involved that this type of behaviour is unacceptable in a civilised society.

If you look at what goes on in their "home" country, you'll see why they do such things when they get here?

It's life Jim, but not as WE know it.

Disgraceful that tthe authorities were more concerned about offending Asians than about the welfare of the girls.

Also disgraceful that Sara Rowbotham was 'made redundant' after the court case. That lady should be givin an honour...maybe even made a Dame, so that she can sit in the House of Lords and speak out, and maybe make changes. That is if she would wish to. She is obviously a lady of principle, and it is shameful that she was ignored for so long, thus allowing the abuse to continue. The corridors of power in this country are overrun with slimy useless lizards who suppress anything that might open a can of worms. Those poor abused girls..the whole thing is sickening. Is it really still going on? If that is the case then it is an outrage.

Sickening to the highest degree.

No matter what colour grooming gangs are they should be brought to Justice for the sickening ways they set out to destroy the young victims lives. For sure it is totally unacceptable in our Society. What they do in their own Country should never be done here. A strong message must be put out regarding that. Although most likely they know that anyway, and they just don't give a toss.
