It's a natural feeling to do it.  What harm does it do?

It's also perfectly natural to post in an old dressing gown while eating a pot noodle but I don't think that many people have the urge to tell others about it.

Absolutely, in the case of the exhibitionist OP he just likes the wind blowing through his tackle!

Your link on the other hand made me wince at the thought of going up hill, bearing down on the pedal and the chain snapping, that could be fatal don't you think?

I think we need to get out of our gear,  ie clothes,  and show what we've got. That's what we all want really.
