I haven't bought much recently so this is the first time I've used this service.
It's a kind of van driver/delivery options kind of thing where you get info about where your new item is and how long it wll take to deliver it.
You even get thw drivers name.
I think it's brilliant.

MMmmmm, I don't get that info. I am told that the driver is currently on job number 33 and that I am job number 39.
He'll be here in 40 minutes or less.

Yes Steve, it's a great way of keeping in touch with your parcels. I ordered something about a week ago which was being delivered by DPD. My first message read. "Dave is on his way to you and will contact you by phone within an hour of reaching you".
Later I had another message. "Sorry, Dave has been delayed and will not reach you until tomorrow"
When Dave finally arrived, he apologised and told me he'd had a puncture and was three hours behind. I quite like the service. It's customer care at its best.

My new PC is here. Delivered by Nigel, no less. It got here at 12:16.
