The manufacturing of clothing has been a significant part of industry since the 19th century. And the factories and mills involved in clothing production, must be pumping vast amounts of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere.  So contributing to Global Warming.

Couldn't this be avoided, if we just stopped wearing clothes?  

Would any posters here be interested in an experimental trial, ie to go out with no clothes on, every day,  to show their commitment to saving the planet?
