eBay keeps deleting what I type.

When I was typing information about a package that did not arrive, the cursor kept jumping backwards and deleting the previous letter roughly every four keystrokes.

I have no applications running that stop adverts or pop-ups, and I have not seen this on any other websites that involve entering text. Does anyone know what is causing it and whether eBay knows about it?

Is this on a browser or in the app?  If browser please mention which one and the version.

From memory the only time I have seen this before was when we used to use Kaspersky software - I think it was treating some of eBay fields like it was a banking site - presumably because it is possible to store card information inside to use for payments.

In the past, similar sorts of issues have been associated with grammar checking add-ons like Grammarly or Language Tool. Try temporarily disabling add-ons to see if that makes any difference.

Trying another browser might also be worth doing.
