Can I open a second account to sell a different type of product ?

You can open more than one account.

If  you say you are going to sell a different type of product does that mean you are buying or making to sell.

If so then you need to open a business account not a private account

That also applies to your account above where you are selling a high percentage of new items

If you buy to sell or make to sell you are a business and have to be registered as such for ebay and the law.

also opening a further account will not get around any selling limitations and, or restrictions that might be in place due to a bad % rating etc.
