Item sold through GSP - buyer asking for IOSS number to go on parcel.

Only been selling on ebay for about 5 months and have sold quite a few items through GSP without issue. Just had someone from Portgual buy an item and has asked me to mention the IOSS number on the parcel so that the Portugese authorities can see VAT has already been paid.

Forgive me if this is a stupid question, but doesn't the GSP look after all of that for you?

Thanks in advance!

You are correct, GSP takes care of all the documentation.

I would explain that to your customer - they may not realise it is being shipped via GSP.
