On both app and desktop, when I try to purchase postage label it says something went wrong or technical difficulties please try again. Any ideas?

Yep, others are reporting this, so it's a new, temporary fault.
As with all these glitches, it's always a case of ... ' please try again later'.

Me too, can't purchase any postage to send parcels. Tried in 3 different browsers, same technical fault.

I am the same. I was literally searching everywhere online for a solution because I am desperately wanting to post something now. But guess we will have to wait for a few hours for it to be fixed.

I'm having the same problem too, tried both website and the app but still no joy. Hopefully eBay are aware of the problem and are sorting it.

Just managed to get my label, it buffered a bit so be patient, but at least it seems to be working now.

As of 18:24 both the website and the app are working but still "no services available".

We're lucky that eBay's EDD super algorithm is smart enough to take this mess up into consideration.
That was sarcasm in case you didn't realise.
Unless a rep actually comments that yes it really does. But though they have said it does allow for couriers problems, none have said it takes into consideration eBay's own problems.
On .com's forum a rep has already posted.............
"Sellers will be protected from tracking uploaded on time and validated defects"
I don't see anything similar here unless I missed it.
