hi all

wondered if anybody can help with what to do in the following instance

i have an item to post to a buyer with only one feedback and when icome to post his full address details are not there, he has emailed the address in 4 seperate emails, but i get the following message, its the seller protection im bothered about if it goes to a different address and they claim they didnt get it

Your Post to address contains some errors that need to be fixed before purchasing the label. Please note that you may not be covered by the eBay Seller Protection Policy if the changes you make are substantially different from what the buyer intended

It might be best if you cancel the transaction.  Click on the dropdown menu arrow alongside the item on your sold list and select Cancel order >  Something wrong with buyer's address.    The refund will be issued in the process.

Then you can offer to the underbidder or relist and put their ID on your blocked bidder list:

You must only send to the address shown in 'order details' when you are logged into your Ebay account.

The message you are getting about 'some errors' often comes up when you buy your postage through Ebay - usually there is nothing wrong with the address at all so don't trust/believe the message.

Put the postcode into Google and check the address that way.

As long as your tracking shows delivery to the address shown in order details, they won't be able to make a 'not received' claim.

You do not post to an address provided by the buyer, but bear in mind that the "errors" may only be technical, a local place name spelt as one word may officially be two words, but in practice does not make any difference.

As suggested check that address shows on google when you enter the postcode, you may find that the error is obvious to a human but not a machine.

If in doubt cancel sale using reason "problem with address."
