However in theory allowing a buyer to arrange their own collection does void the ebay 30 day money back guarantee, if buyer put in a claim you would have to explain to ebay that he did not collect in person.
Any damage in transit would really have to be settled between buyer and his courier.
You would also have to ensure you handed over the the correct courier and not be set up by a scam and being picked up by wrong person.
This could be a bit risky and I think many sellers would avoid this sort of transaction.
