i bought an item and payment was automatically taken from my account; how do i get an ebay invoice for the transaction?

eBay do not send invoices neither do Private sellers.

The nearest you'll get to an invoice,  is to go to your Purchase History and print off a copy of the order details.

EBay doesn't issue invoices because they didn't sell you anything.  Most sellers don't issue invoices either.

EBay will send the usual order confirmation and update information.
