appealing against a refund

I am a seller .I have been trying to start an appeal against a dcecision ebay took to refund a customer. The website is something of a nightmare .I follow the instructions then hit a brick wall and cannot proceed. I try the bot message assistant who provides a link to start my appeal but that takes me to "oops something went wrong" or words to that effect. There seems to be no way to contact ebay directly with my prob lem

The lines that is,  the Live Chat or Call Back options,  are currently closed, but will reopen today at 8 a.m.

Then, to Contact Customer Services , I find this is the easiest route,  to click on this link:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/eua?id=5275&mkevt=1&mkpid

On the left sidebar you can see Have us Call you or Chat with Our Automated Assistant.

On weekdays lines open between 8 a.m. and 10 .m.

On weekends they open between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m.

This link may also explain how to appeal a refund case:

You don't seem to have any recent transactions.

If you had given more details it would be easier to advise you.

Generally, you have 30 days after the refund is made/case closed to start an appeal.

You can only appeal if the case closed without seller resolution.  So, if Ebay refunded because you refused to engage with the case or customer.  If you refunded voluntarily, you can't appeal.

If the buyer went for a chargeback through their payment provider, the advice would be different.
