Wrong Postage Label

I've just sold a pair of shoes. I used the Royal Mail postage option. Purchased the label and took QR code to post office.

Label was for a large letter, not a small parcel so ended up having to pay £4.59 for the correct postage.

Is there any way to claim this back?

Wrong Postage Label

Find your label with this link . https://www.ebay.co.uk/ship/lmng/labels-history/seller-hub and to the left of the sales record there is a drop down menu under 'Actions' click on that , then click on 'Void Label'.

You may need to wait 24 hours for it to appear,  before you can cancel it.

The refund will take between 5 - 7 days to process.

You can claim the original large letter postage label back, but nothing else. It's vital that you make sure that the postage option that you select is suitable for the size of the package you'll be sending (you need to factor in the packaging as this may take it up an increment). Having said that, a pair of shoes was never going to be able to be sent as a large letter.

You can cancel unused labels within 15 days.

You can void and get a refund on the link below, use the more actions menu to select the void option.
