Just purchased sleeveless tank top, the seller does not accept returns, the tank top is described as XXL, upon receipt it would appear the jumper has previously been washed on a hot wash and has consequently shrunk!!

making it more of a medium rather than the XXL I paid for.

the seller refuses to accept a return, I raised the issue with eBay and they've sided with the seller.

any advice as to wher I go from here, or an I just stuck with a £30 tip the I can't get over my head!

If you bought from a privaate seller, they can refuse a return if you choose the reason 'wrong size/does not fit'.

That is counted as a change of mind return.  Really, you needed to choose 'item not as described'.

You could sell it on yourself - with accurate measurements.

For the future, beside No Returns on listings it does say SEE DETAILS.

No seller can refuse an item that is not properly described.
