Refund not working! Help

I am trying to refund a buyer as unfortunately the item I was selling got put into charity box when I was moving things at home.

I have attempted 4 times to refund via the Ebay website, but I keep getting an error and the refund not processing, and then hitting a 'request invalid' message!  I have spent 90 mins going through the Chatbot and am in a hell loop as they have not helped at all!

How do I contact an actual AGENT to help me process the refund?

Refunds are best completed through an eBay Buyer initiated case, (especially if your funds are on hold) .. eBay will charge their fees immediately an item is sold and often there are then insufficient funds available to complete the refund process.

Check that you have setup account correctly including UK Banking/Card details on file in order to send and receive payments .>
