Refund & Return

I accidently sent the wrong item to a buyer.  they were great about it and sent the item back and I now want to exchange it for the right item.

However, I obviously hit the wrong button and it now wants me to produce a refund (which i don't want to do) I just want it exchanged.  Does anyone know how I can go about with without refunding the buyer?  There doesn't appear to be an option for me to exchange it - only refund.....

thanks

Refund & Return

Not possible to change.

From a practical angle it is always best to refund and buyer buy again.

Sending a replacement, if buyer had to open a case for a faulty item in the first place, if replacement also was faulty then buyer would not be able to do anything about it through ebay, as they only get one chance.

Maybe best to refund the buyer now, and then relist the item for the buyer to buy again if they wish to,and obviously communcate the issue to the buyer so they are aware of what you intend to do.
