Poor sizing details

Just a heads up to sellers. I see lovely items of clothing for sale but sadly due to a lack of basic information on measurements and fabric I won't risk bidding. I'm a size 12-14 but these days that's not enough information as sizes can vary so much. I also try to avoid dryclean only items. I've won gorgeous items in my size only to discover that they are too small/large. I've also noticed an increase in items being constantly relisted because they haven't sold. The common feature in those items is the lack of measurements. Thanks for reading.

Yep I agree with all you have said,  and anyone selling clothing who just state the size as a Medium or  size 12/14 ,   for example.  I will avoid,  as all Brands / shops have different  sizings.

Personally,  I  think any seller selling clothing items and does not add full measurement, e.g.  waist, chest, leg whichever appropriate, even laying  a tape measure across those salient points,  is leading to case of items not as described.
