It's  not a problem it's a security measure for alll new and returning sellers.

If you are a new seller,  eBay have none of your selling history,  so they need to see that a paid for item,  will be shipped and delivered to the buyer.  If you have tracking showing delivery,  this will speed up that payout, and it is sent to your bank usually within a few days.

This has to be in place otherwise anyone could come on eBay sell expensive items,  take the money and not post out the item.  Once you are established as a good seller posting out items promptly,  this hold stops,  and you can select a daily or weekly payout from your sales.

If you are a returning seller,  that is,  you have returned to sell after a little break,  then sudden selling activity raises red flags to eBay as some dormant accounts can be hijacked,  so eBay wish to see that the genuine seller has returned.

Here again,  tracking showing delivery will release the money sooner,  as eBay as happy the genuine seller has returned to their account to sell again.

I wouldn't be surprised if eBay aren't checking your registration status, you are currently registered as a private seller but are selling all new items and duplicates at that and need to be registered as a business, easy enough to change here https://accountsettings.ebay.co.uk/profile

Your username also suggests you are a business and a limited company,it is illegal to represent yourself as a limited company if you are not,if you are all details should be on your listing, this is a UK legal requirement as well as accepting returns.

Currently you are trading illegally and if reported could face heavy sanctions

You have not sold for months and then have sold a small number of expensive items in a short time.  This could look like a hacked account.

Once tracking shows delivery of the items, then it is likely that your money will be released.

As advised, you do need to upgrade to a business account, and also ensure you are declaring your income from trading to HMRC.

Currently, your returns policy is not legal and you are denying buyers their right, under the Consumer Rights Act, to return items bought from a business seller online for any reason.
