Can anyone tell me how long a item sits at the international hub for until its then shipped to me? It's been there 5 days now

A parcel will go through at least 5 steps before going on its journey fro the hub,so from detailed inspections, screening,to paperwork filling,to clearance and should only take 1-2 days but that is working business days and doesn't include any holidays.
