International fees

I have just been charged 35p 'International fee' purchase for a customer in Lichfield!!!! I did not realise that Lichfield was no longer part of the UK as is now uder Australian durisdiction . Anyone lese had this riduculous charge fro UK postcodes?

ebay message was :-

International FeeCharged because the delivery address is in Australia. Final amount: £17.50.

You are charged a 35p fee for international sales if the address is outside of the UK at checkout.The Litchfield hub is the GSP point of delivery for ongoing post abroad
