Foreign sellers

Ebay need to make it more visible when a seller is not in this country.  I don't want to buy from a foreign country  but clicked my order before I realised,  very annoying

I strongly agree! Especially when the seller is in China, even though they have a base in the UK which allows them to describe items as UK stock. Some even place a Union Flag on their ads!

The item location is shown on the listing page, but sometimes you can only discover where the seller is located by checking their feedback page, which shows their country of registration.

It's very important to know, and not only because 20% VAT will be payable if the seller is in another country. It also means that there will be no enforceable UK statutory consumer protection, any warranty will be meaningless and there's a good chance that items will not comply with UK safety standards, even if marked as doing so.
