I receive notices that there is a new sign in to my account - The approximate location of the person signing in is given - The address is not correct for me. I have changed my e-bay password but the error persists. I have therefore tried to set up a 2-step 'Text Me' verification/additional line of security - but when I try to do this the e-bay website informs (message in Red) me that it "ran into a problem and that I should try later" I am considering closing my e-bay account altogether and open a new account - but I will presumably lose my purchase/sales history if I do that. Any ideas ?
Everyone gets this message from time to time ... as long as you were logged in at around the time of the message/s, there shouldn't be a problem. At times, eBay will reroute information through Servers located around the UK that are less busy.
