Wednesdays warm and wonderful tea

Not stopping, off out for a couple of hours, then we are going to the parish council meeting about the hundreds of houses they want to put on green field land,  huff and puff.

Will be having chicken and bacon pie, with new potatoes, broccoli and carrots, fed up with salad, don't care if it is hot.

We are having breaded cod, mushy peas and tarare sauce.

I will be having a bacon buttie  - my concession to healthy eating is that it will be brown rolls.

We normally bacon toasties for our lunch on a Saturday and we have brown bread as well as my mum can't have white bread.

He had a concoction of pilchards with mashed potato on top and then grated cheese, and broccoli and green beans.

I had a concoction of diced roast lamb marinated in a chilli con carne sauce with added chopped tomatoes, chick peas and kidney beans and the broccoli and green beans.

So it was a day of 'concoctions'!

Homemade mushroom soup, wholemeal roll, salad in vinegarette & sliced bananas topped with greek yoghurt

I concocted steak and kidney pud, new spuddies and mushrooms.

then we ate the rest of the profiteroles.

Just got in from work, slung half a rabbit pie in the oven while I jumped in the bath; eating it while I dry.

I had Chicken Tikka lasagne with Chips!!!. Cake for afters with a nice cuppa!!.
