What a bloomin awful day, boy we have had some heavy showers this morning, when I went to work this morning instead of it raining cats and dogs I think it was elephants and hipos.

Home made chicken casserole for us tonight, as I don't know when OH will be back and son can't make up his mind if he wants any or not.

Today, we're having turkey fillet, mixed veg and gravy.

Admits to loving cheesecake.  That's my favourite pud closely followed by crumble and custard.

Best laid plans and all that, OH came back early, casserole not quite ready, OH hungry, so now having jacket potato with cheesy coleslaw and salad.   I give up.

I had a wonderful lunch out with Joan so I won't want any tea. I had Scallops & bacon on a warm salad & it was gorgeous!

I met one of my friends for lunch today as well.  There's normally three of us but one of my friends has had a fall and she didn't feel so good.

For lunch, we just had a bacon toastie.

Had plaice today (with home made chips of course) was all very nice but I'm not the worlds best at making batter - wish I could do it like the fish shop does, any tips gratefully received!
