I've just got another book from the library tonight, "Amanda Owen, The Yorkshire Shepherdess." What is it with me and sheep? LOL The story is about how she left city life behind to raise a family and a flock. Apparently she was in "The Dales" on TV but I dont remember seeing the series.

Sorry for not replying sooner, CB; couldn't get on the internet again. As already mentioned it was Katy Cropper with the hat. I, too, would like to own a sheep, they can be quite entertaining especially when they all decide to run; I love to watch them.
