Nail polish on clothing

My daughter accidentally got nail polish on her new cream leggings. Its that shellac stuff. Ive tried swabbing with remover to no avail. Any suggestions please?

I think if you Google it, there are some demo's to watch about removing it. Sorry, that's all I can think of.

Knowing nowt about nail polish but a bit about shellac, try methylated spirits, its what I uise to dissolve shellac flakes.

Make sure you try a test area first where it won't show , as some of these spirit based methods can dissolve some materials!

There is a product called stainzrout that claims to remove nail polish .

I do use the product as it is good for removing stains but have not used it to remove nail polish ........
