adding VAT for past orders

Hello friends, I've already exceeded the 85 limit.
5 months ago, my vat registration was made by accounting.
Now I need to add 20% watt to thousands of orders coming in 5 months.
How do I do this in bulk?
It takes me days to click on each order and write 20% vat one by one.

Are you saying that your VAT registration was backdated by 5 months and so you didn't charge VAT at the time, but now need to account for the VAT you should have charged at the time?

If so, you can't add 20% to sales already made and completed as you won't be able to charge your customers that VAT.  You need to treat those sales as VAT inclusive and account for 1/6 of the sales value as VAT (output tax) on your VAT return.

You also need to make sure that your account has 20% as the VAT rate in the appropriate field so that future sales have the right price..
