Headed down to London on Friday with a friend for the weekend. Arrived late Friday night so didnt have time to do anything but on the Saturday we got up early and got in the que to get into Wimbledon for the day. After 6 hours of queing (very much worth it though) we got in and headed straight to the practice courts and literally within 2 minutes of being there we met Novak Djokovic, Andy Murray, Nicolas Almagro and Sabine Lisicki. Marion Bartolli and Carla Suarez Navarro were doing a signing session behind where we were so with the que being only around 15 people we joined it and got both of them, I also managed a photo with Marion. After that we went over to the outside courts to watch a few games and caught the end of Kei Nishikori/Andreas Seppi, and I got Seppi to sign my photo. From there Fernando Verdasco had just won on the court opposite us so I got him on an index card and then Jamie Murray was involved in doubles after Nishikori had finished so I added him to my multi photo. We then headed over to court 2 for Laura Robson. After her brilliant come back from a set down there was quite a crowd waiting for her but to her credit she signed for every single person despite getting mobbed so I managed an index card from her and also got a match used Tennis ball signed although she used someones sharpie so the ball didnt come out well at all. From there it was over to get Heather Watson after her doubles match she signed 2 photos for me. After her we then went off to watch some more matches before heading back to the hotel around 8pm, didnt see any of the many Team GB athletes that were in attendance which was a shame but always another time. Did plan on doing the west end Saturday evening but train times didnt make it possible for getting back to the hotel so we ended up having to leave it. Overall a great but tiring weekend well worth the trip and great weather too.
