Sir Terry Pratchett OBE signed book and card

Picked up another first edition book from the Discworld series for a £1 and sent it off to Sir Terry Pratchett via a private address on the 25th of July. Knowing my mate Paul..Mr Knock-Knock had a reply from Sir Terry last year but wasn't sure on authenticity I also added a card and asked if he could also sign this..stuck a post-it-note on the back asking for the card to be dedicated to Paul, And he kindly signed the back. I also added a donation to a charity of Terry's choice as I did the last time I wrote to him....Also got a letter back too. Over te Moon again with this reply.

Sir Terence David John "Terry" Pratchett, OBE (born 28 April 1948) is an English novelist, known for his frequently comical work in the fantasy genre. He is best known for his popular and long-running  series of comic fantasy novels. Pratchett's first novel,  , was published in 1971, and since his first Discworld novel was published in 1983, he has written two books a year on average.

Thank you once again Sir Terry Pratchett, In December 2007, Pratchett publicly announced that he was suffering from early-onset Alzheimer's disease and, subsequently, made a substantial public donation to the Alzheimer's Research Trust, and filmed a programme chronicling his experiences with the disease for the  BBC.

Lovely success for you Alex, and nice one for getting the card for Paul.

It still baffles me that people we write to comment that they still get people who do not send postage for a reply. It's not fair on them, and other collectors often feel the brunt of it if a signer gets fedup.
