I always regret fitting kitchen units with the worktops and doors covered in that stuff, its nothing like good old formica. I'm nearly 52, and mine is usually up for 20-30 minutes depending, it can go on all night but it has to go down and come back up again. This is very often the case and frankly if you're worried about not being able to manage 12 hours, counselling will do you a lot more good than giving your kitchen a makeover. And equally frankly, if ebay has policies about that sort of thing, I can only say I'm delighted that they've chosen to break them
