I bought a timer for hen lights. It has 2 years warrenty but has broken in 10 months. Seller refuses to discuss issue. Whats my options please.?

Ebay are saying i acted illegally by selling outside ebay. I did not. As is the norm these days with certain items it pays to advertise the item else where which i did. It sold on this other site not ebay.
