The phone was purchased by someone with no feedback. Paypal payment was made ok. He has had the phone for two weeks and now claims that the screen is damaged. Do I have to believe him and refund? Is there no way I can ask eBay to mediate?

@john1297576 She received the item, her feedback for me says she loves the item and is very happy. Surely an 'as described' case wouldn't stand up? Or are buyers allowed to damage items they receive and then claim a refund? I'm confused...

No the only option there is :- "The listing has items being sold without the owner's authorization. You didn't bid." which is not the case.
