My wife used Buy It Now on an item that was collection only (50 mile round trip). When I got the item home, it was clear that it was not the item pictured in the listing but a 'similar' item that did not suit our needs. I have sent an SMS to the seller in case he accidentally gave me the wrong item, sent him an eBay message and left him a voicemail. No reponse. How does returning the item work - as it only cost £10.00 but I don't fancy doing another 50 mile round trip at my expense...

There is no return for collection items.....the concept is you go, inspect, pay & take away........you are supposed to ensure what you collected is what was advertised BEFORE paying & taking away !!
